Wait a minute? Simon actually raises someone up, instead of eviscerating them?

What is going on in American Idol land?  Simon is schizophrenic this season.  Is he a nice guy? Or is the total asshole that we’ve come love and hate? In walks, Jordan Southerland singing Josh Groban’s “You Raise Me Up.”  So, I love Josh Groban (yes, it’s a little embarassing).  And, Jordan’s rendition was pretty decent.  It’s not the easiest song for a guy.  Anyway, I agree with Randy that it was ok.  Of course Paula would vote yes, given that he’s got potential. . But what the hell is up with Simon?  Voting Jordan through to Hollywood?  Even Randy and Paula were shocked and surprised.  They did not expect it and neither did I!! Has Simon Cowell been taking happy pills?  I’m not sure I like Simon this year.
