Ayla Brown Wants You To Need Her

More with the ambitious song choices!  Ayla Brown took on Celine Dion’s “I Want You To Need Me” on tonight’s American Idol.  I just don’t know. . . Celine?  That’s serious. I’ll have to watch this one carefully.  The thing that Ayla has is that she is willing to try really hard.  Unlike Brenna, for instance, Ayla takes it very seriously and is willing to work and focus. . She’s definitely got talent too.  She had a few bum notes but overall her performance was strong and she kicked it out on one long held note.  Paula summed it up with “I think you want this really bad” and acknowledged Ayla’s growth and effort.  Randy appreciated the tom boy to hot chic transformation.  He thought it was a good song choice for her voice and that he “liked it.”  Simon said she’s the type of person who is going to get an “A” at whatever they do.  He wants a little rawness though and warned that she is so perfected that she comes across as a little mechanical.  I definitely see what he is saying. . . but I suspect that like in basketball, once she gets confident, she will take more risk to show the personal style. BTW, she definitely went from athletic, sweaty and dirty to one drop dead gorgeous woman. . .I still get serious gaydar from her though.  Lesbians all over will be dialing her number. . .
