Bye, Bye Bobby Bennett

I’m sure a nice guy and I can appreciate Bobby singing Copa Cabana for his grandmother.  Hell, I can appreciate anyone who sings Copa on American Idol for any reason.  I think he did it pretty well too.  He should perform it in a casino in Las Vegas, actually.  Sadly for Bobby, I think tonight may be his last. . . Randy thought it was like a time warp and that he is a good entertainer but that it was just ok.  Paula thought it was risky but that he committed 100% and with passion. Simon said that “if you hear a scream from a hotel room in Las Vegas that’s where Barry Manilow was watching this show.”  Basically, a horror film. Damn. . Do I suck as bad as Simon?  I always thought of myself more on the Paula side of life, but I’m growing old and curmudgeonly like Simon. . .Ugh. More about Simon and Seacrest’s bitch slapping each other, later.
