So, don’t get me wrong. . I love .  She is the anti-Carrie, and for that, she can do virtually no wrong in my eyes.  That said, I wonder if she’s going to crack under the pressure.  You can see it just under the surface, as if she’s afraid she’s going to fall on her face on stage and look like the country bumpkin she is. Her rendition of Bonnie Raitt’s “Let’s Give Them Something To Talk About” was ok in my view.  She started off a little rough but definitely warmed up toward the end.  It was a great song choice, but I wanted to see her relax.  She had me nervous the whole time.  Fortunately for Kellie, she’s totally beautiful and sweet and she plays really well to middle-America.  And, heck the last half of her performance was pretty inspired. Paula said she is adorable, unpretentious, and she really enjoyed it.  Randy invited her into the dog pound, saying she did her thing.  Simon summed it up with ‘you cannot help but like you,” saying that the performance was a little rough but that the calamari comment made it all better.  “America is going to love you.”  He’s right.  That calamari comment pushed it over the top. . I mean, you can’t make stuff like that up. . She’s totally sincere.  And, that’s pretty much it.  She admitted she was nervous, and I swear I wrote that comment about fear of falling before she said it after the performance.
