Mandisa Hundley graciously forgives Simon for his fat comments

So the show made a big deal about Simon’s rude comments about Mandisa’s weight.  I wonder if the producers goaded her in to commenting on this prior to the judges issuing their verdict to her on whether she would go on to the next round of the american idol competition as a top 24 finalist? Either way, she played it rather beautifully by saying that simon hurt her and caused her to cry but that she did not need an apology to forgive someone but that she did forgive him. Simon’s response was that he was “humbled” and asked her for a hug, which she graciously gave. After all of this, they voted her through.  And, Simon actually apologized! She definitely has a great sense of humor.  You go girl!!!
