So, I have to give some credit to for trying to show a different (read: non-bitchy, mature) side of herself on the first, elimination show on American Idol.  She would be so much more tolerable, if it was this side that she showed more often.  Perhaps, she’s just been way over-acting-out for the cameras, but I took a real dislike to her in the first few shows and I’m sure this is true for many of you as well.  Even in her “other side” performance tonight, you could see the beyatch trying to break free.  It’s like she has multiple personalities. . . evilina and nice brenna, and they were fighting it out for supremacy. Her performance was ok and it definitely got better throughout and towards the end, but it left me a little cold despite all the sunshine.  I don’t know why the girls are all trying to hit these really low notes. . . Brenna also missed a lot of them, but she pulled it out on the highs. .   The fact appears to be that Brenna is a drama queen diva.  She should definitely be herself, and I agree she’s more comfortable with her evilina self, but i doubt this is who she really is either.  Randy said it was safe and he wants her to be more of a bitch. Simon said that it was horrible but that she didn’t need to be anything but who she is.  He said she is a wild little cat and someone just put gloves, coat, hat and muzzle on her.  He said it was the sort of thing that you would see in a “ghastly” hotel.  He wants the claws to come back out and admonished her to “Scratch Me!”   Either way, she’ll make it to the next week, if for no other reason, than everyone wants to see her with her “claws OUT!”
