What is up with the voting public? Why would Ace be in the bottom three and Kevin Covais not be there instead? Listen people. . Kevin is cute and sweet and nerdy and pinchable but he can’t sing!!! So, stop giving him the pity vote. . . it’s not right when you could actually be helping someone with half a chance. That said, Kevin has a schtick that he is working mercilessly. Ace hasn’t developed a similar relationship with the viewers/voters. He has to do something special next week if he makes it through. Maybe he should follow my advice and: wear less clothing!!!!

I agree… Kevin isn’t half bad… Ace just has no range. He can only sing on certain levels an that’s it. He has a nice voice and nice physical features, but I don’t think he’s going to win. Let’s go for Chris Daughtry!!!!!!!!!
Well, to start of, Kevin is no more on Idol, and honestly, America did a smart thing, they got it right! If u say Ace has a certain level when he sings Kevin has a certain level too. Ace is really trying and doing pretty well if I’m being honest with u. His falseto is amazing and Kevin defanately wouldn’t be able to sing in a falseto well at all. Ace has a very original and unique voice which is loved by many of his dans.Ace rocks, his fans know he does.. and THAT is what is important.:Winning Idol or not, we know he is an incredible singer. Making it this far in the compition is just amazing, lets take 2 strong contestants.. Hmm, how about Katherine and Chris, if it ends up to a Katherine and Chris finale and Katherine wins by just a few extra votes that wont prove shes a better singer. Its just a bit more amount of votes. Ace is loved by many and we are proud of him, if he wins gets out soon or whatever thats left up to God. We’re just happy that hes made it this far and that he has so much talent.:D
Couldn’t agree with the sentiments FaRhaNa. . I want Ace to do well. I agree with Patricia that he needs to work on expressing his personality more. He’s got a lot more going on than he let’s show on Idol and it makes a difference. Kevin was able to telegraph a bigger, more likable personality, than Ace and this made up for his singing deficit for a while. Thankfully, the audience got it right and released him, giving Ace more time.
This happened again with Lisa Tucker this week. . . She’s a great singer but wasn’t able to capture as much adoration from the public. Don’t get me wrong, she’s well loved, especially by me, but her personality didnt’ come across as BIG as some of the others and this is a huge factor beyond talent.
Back to Ace. . . If he would just take off some of those clothes, or at least wear something TIGHT, it would make all the difference in the world. He needs to be more edgey.
