So, Bucky and Rocky? I’ll bet that’s cute. Look, I’m not the hugest fan of Bucky. First, I can’t understand a word he says (ok, he’s getting better or I’m getting used to his accent or something). But, I have to give him some credit for tonight’s performance. I’m not a big country fan, but this song fit him like a glove. He didn’t try to over do it, but he sounded great and it was very believable. I think he is just a little in over his head. If he really wants to be a country star, he can certainly make it. I think he just needs more experience and confidence. He also needs to develop a specific schtick. . . like. . . Chris Daughtry, who has a very memorable ”brand.” Randy didn’t like the song choice but thought it was good “Bucky Country.” Paula thought it was good, raw, and unpretentious and untapped. I get what she’s saying. Simon thought it was ordinary – adequate but not exceptional.
