I have to prepare myself for Chris Daughtry. He chose Fuel’s “Hemorrhage” because he wanted the audience to feel like they were at a rock concert and then some other crap about not nurturing relationships. . . ok, that he is so sensitive only makes him sexier. What can I say? He started off brilliantly and executed another flawless performance. He’s definitely the best male finalist on the show. And, this is coming from someone who doesn’t really like the white male version of the screamy black banshy diva thing, i.e., rock. At this point, he doesn’t even need the show. But I leave you with this: HE IS HOT, HOT, HOT!!! On to the judges: Randy – loved it, loved it, loved it. Could be on the radio right now. Standing ovation. Paula – Standing ovation. . Do you know how good you are? You are amazing. There are magic moments and you’ve hit one of your many to come Simon – Chris, there have been a lot of compliments tonight to other artists. This was the only performance that stands up in the real world. You are the standard everyone of the guys should be looking toward. And, actually, . . . this is probably the right time to change my prediction for the next American Idol. . . I originally predicted Ace Young but I think I’ve got to shift now as say unequivocally that the next American Idol at this stage is: Chris Daughtry
