Fill In The Blank – What If Chris Daughtry _____?

Chris Daughtry chose to sing Creed’s “What If” on tonight’s American Idol. It was probably the hardest, hard rock song ever performed on American Idol. It was 100% pure Chris Daughtry. . . sexy, screachy, and intense. Randy liked the song choice but thought he was sharp for most of the song. How could you tell? Does pitch matter when you’re screaming a rock song like that? Paula said she is one of his biggest fans. Simon said it was indulgent and that he went too far, advising that Creed wouldn’t be caught dead on American Idol and he needs to show a different side. I totally get what Simon was saying about not being able to do the same thing week after week, but I actually think Chris Daughtry can get away with it. Check out Chris Daughty’s “What If”
