chose to sing “Change Is Gonna Come” by Sam Cooke. First, I have to say that Gedeon just isn’t very telegenic when it comes to interviews.  He’s cute, but there’s something about him that just doesn’t turn me on, if you know what I mean.  Anyway, the song choice was excellent for him. . An old school blues ditty.  It started a little rocky but he quickly got into it.  I have to say his performance was ONE THOUSAND times better than that crazy performance of “Shout” the week before.  It was much more mellow but definitely had the high points.  He pulled out the ending like a pro.  And, he obviously got some style guidance from someone because he was looking extremely cute. He braced himself for the judges.  Randy called him a natural performer and acknowledged that it got better as he went along.  Paula said he was unique, was smart in his selections, and that we’d be seeing him as a performer for decades.  Simon called him a funny little thing. . . mentioning the smile thing. . . and mentioned that he is special as a throwback to an earlier period of music.  Simon thought he sounded authentic and was someone brilliantly akin to Marvin Gaye and Smoky Robinson.  “A very good performance.” You go Gedeon!  Coming along nicely.
