Katharine McPhee Comes Back To Us Hotter Than Ever

Katharine McPhee chose to sing Stevie Wonder’s “Until You Come Back To Me.”  First of all, Katharine is looking more and more beautiful every week.  She’s also seeming more comfortable with being on stage, letting some personality peak through.  I think she did a great job on the song, especially in the first half and the last part.  It’s a little weird to hear and see a white girl singing a song made famous by Aretha Franklin, but she did it justice.  I don’t know if it was her best performance but it was definitely strong. Randy loved everything about it and said that the Katharine from auditions had come back and hotter than ever.  Paula said that something about her voice pierces the heart.  I think she meant this in a good way.  She also said that it was her best performance ever, to which Katharine showed her extreme pleasure.  Simon said she was good and that she was reminding him vocally of Kelly Clarkson.  This was meant as a complement.
