Look, Katharine isn’t going to win this year’s American Idol, but it doesn’t matter, does it? She’s going to be an actress. And, she’ll be a very famous one. And, no. . of course, it doesn’t matter if she can act. . . With all of that. . on to her performance. It was great. She looked great. She sounded great. She seems like a really nice person. What’s not to like? Randy didn’t think it was the best of her vocal performances but admitted it was a really tough song and that her performance was really strong. Paula also thought she pulled off an incredibly difficult song and said that she would be one of the contenders to the end of the competition. Simon started off with a sly grin. . He said that with tonight’s performance something happened . . . that she turned into a star, and that it was like watching a seasoned performer. It was special and he “loved” it.
