chose to sing Stevie Wonder’s “Part-time Lover” stating that he has to uphold his title of being the sex symbol on American Idol this season.  He is definitely working his schtick hard (so to speak).  He even did the Chicken Little Dance early into the song, but this was probably unintentional. Stevie didn’t have much to say about Kevin as a singer. . except that he brought a great sense of fun to the song and has an “interesting” voice.  Basically, this means he’s not that great but he’s kind of cute, so why not.  I have to give Kevin credit for giving it his all, and it was actually not that bad.  We will all feel badly when it is his time to go, but he should not be on the show at this point. Randy, as usual, laughed and said that he loved Kevin.  Randy didn’t expect him to sing it well or in tune but said that Kevin did both.  Paula went googoo gaagaa over it.  Simon of course wants Kevin off the show and so he laid it out. . . saying it was appalling, horrible. . .

Kevin has a great dry sarcastic sense of humor. And he is not afraid to point it at himself. Shows intelligence and maturity. I like him for that.

I am sorry – but he is the WORST!!!! He does not need to be on the show. And he is not cute.

  4. Julie says:

Stevie could hardly have implied that Kevin was cute, considering that he is blind. Maybe you should rephrase your interpretations of what people say.
