What can I really say about Lisa Tucker’s performance this week? I thought she was wonderful. She sang “Here’s Where I Stand.” It was a nice ballad that showed off her skill and range and a little of her personality. The lyrics were perfectly suited for the Top 12 elimination show. Of all the performances, I think she was the most vocally perfect of the girls. She asks that we love her and she needn’t worry, because we will. The judges didn’t like the song choice. I swear they are getting tiresome. Just because someone doesn’t sing a screaming banshy song, it doesn’t mean that they weren’t good and more importantly that the audience can’t get into it and won’t vote for the performer. Simon was the only one that conveyed it well.
