Mandisa Is THE Woman

How can anyone not love Mandisa?  She blew the other Top 24 girls away on American Idol this week.  She fucking rocks!  Her performance of Chaka Kahn’s “Every Woman,” was spectacular.  It’s an incredibly difficult song to pull off but it is perfect for her. . .She looked great, sounded great, moved great and blew everyone away. . . AGAIN.  In a competition that craves screaming black divas. . . she dishes it up in SUPER SIZE.  Randy quickly ushered her into the dog pound saying that it was the best female vocal performance of the season and sets the benchmark for the other girls.  Paula was having a flashback to some disco diva nirvana.  Simon said it plainly that she made everyone else look ordinary and that her performance was the only one worth re-watching and it was in a “completely and utterly different league – brilliant.” I think Simon may be changing his mind and beginning to think that a fat girl CAN actually become the American Idol.  Let’s see if America will do the right thing. . .
