Why is it that comes across as so weird in his interviews?  He really knows how to anunciate, doesn’t he?  He talks in that stilted, emotional staccato of an southern preacher-man. . . But he sure can sing well.  Gedeon chose to stick to his roots by singing “When A Man Loves A Woman.”  It really was the perfect song for him.  He performed it beautifully and managed to sneak in some screamy black diva moments for the judges and the fans.  He’s definitely growing on me and not just for this reason :-) Randy thought is was ok and called him an “old soul” and that he pulled it out with the big note at the end.  Paula agreed and appreciates his uniqueness since he is such a throwback to an old style.  Simon called it out plainly with “You are quite odd, aren’t you?”  He said that Gedeon is growing on him.  Despite my better judgement, he’s kind of growing on me also.  Mark my words, he’s going to develop a Lennie Kravitzey sex appeal over time.
