It’s getting down to the wire now on American Idol. Everyone left on the show is a decent singer, some obviously more talented than others, but no one totally sucks at this point. This means that personality, popularity and politics are going to rule over sheer talent from here out. That said, there is room this week to vote off the worst singer and I think we all know at this point who that will be. . . Bucky Covington. Yes, Bucky Covington will be voted off this week, as he should be since he is the worst remaining singer. Sadly, given last week’s position in the bottom three and this week’s less than stellar performance, Lisa Tucker will be in the bottom three again this week. So who else will be in the bottom three? This is a tough call. It really could be just about anybody, but will most likely be Ace Young, Paris Bennett or Katharine McPhee. So, to sum it up again. Who should go this week? Bucky is not the best singer. Hey Jim Morrison was not the best singer in history. But and like Mandisas ( its a big butt) you have to be a show man too. Bucky has both. He is entertaining and he can sing. His voice is unique too. If anyone should go, pack up Ace or even Katharine. (both bore me)
