Who will it be this week? A boy or a girl? Someone who deserves to go or someone we will be shocked by? If you’ve been following my predictions, you’ll know that I got the top 6 girls spot on, but that I kind of blew it on the boys, with 4 out of 6. We all knew the boys would be harder than the girls (ha!). I predicted Will and Gedeon over Bucky and Kevin, hoping that the audience would vote by quality and not by demographic groups, but of course, that is not the case on American Idol. i should have known better. I will try not to make that mistake again. So who will it be this week and why? Who should leave: Kevin Covais, because he’s the worst remaining singer Who’s at risk: Bucky Covington, Melissa McGhee, Kevin Covais because they are in aggregate the worst singers. Who will leave: Melissa McGhee, because girl power voters on average will vote for Kevin and Bucky over Melissa, even though both Kevin and Bucky should leave before her.
