Why Does Everybody Love Elliott Yamin?

I just don’t get it. Every week Elliott Yamin opens his mouth and melts the hearts of millions and I just don’t get it. I feel like I’m taking crazy pills. He chose to sing “I Don’t Want To Be,” taking a big risk by singing the same song that Bo Bice blew the nation away with the year before. Randy thought it was hot. Paula was screaming and jumping up and down, so much so that Simon grabbed her arm and tried to calm her down. She was orgasmic, actually, saying that she loved the arrangement, and that he made it his own, calling him a funky white boy. Simon said it was a great song, good vocal, terrible arrangement and hideous dance moves. I don’t get it. Check out Elliott Yamin’s “I Don’t Want To Be”
