Chris Daughtry Cleans It Up, Slows It Down, and Breaks America's Heart. .

So, is there any doubt that Chris Daughtry will be the next American Idol? I don’t think so after his performance on Tuesday night’s show when he sang “What a Wonderful World.” His voice cracked on one soft note, but it was for the most part a very nice performance. He cleaned up his look and ditched the crazy eye make-up from the week prior and was even sporting a fetching, yet subtle ascot! The judges were so enamored with him that they didn’t even bother mentioning the crack or the ascot. Randy was unequivocal about Chris’s position in the dog pound. Paula just wanted to have sex with him. Simon took all the credit for Chris changing up his image a bit and pulling off such a great performance. Don’t you love Simon?
