Mandisa is a fast talker. . .

Mandisa chose to sing some country song with a gazillion words in it. I think she did it really well. She held back quite a bit on the song, though. I think because she was advised by Paula last week to show a little more vulnerability. She could have blown the song at full tilt like usual but she didn’t. Even still, Mandisa rules. Randy thought it was a weird song choice but that the last few bars showed her personality. He was overly critical. Paula said she could sing the phone book because she is amazing, though she didn’t necessarily like the song. Simon thought the song was horrible, asking why he gets booed for being constructive. He said it was fun and cutesy but liked it best when it was over.
