Is Elliott Yamin In Trouble?

chose to sing “Trouble” for his second song choice on American Idol tonight. He got Paula moving her hips, that’s for sure. It was very similar to all his other performances so what can I say. He did it really well with lots of runs. He definitely is feeling confident and he was pulling out all the stops to get into the . The pressure is on. Randy said that it was his best performance ever. Paula changed her mind and said that this was his best rather than the earlier song that she had previously said was his best. Simon said that he came out fighting tonight and showed personality and said that he deserves to go to the next round. Maybe so. . but I still want to see Katharine in the . . .

Elliott is by far the best with Chris! I personally don’t find any appeal in Taylor. can’t dance and he can’t sing

There is no way that Elliott is the BEST!!! He is by far the least appealing left to be an “American Idol”. Remember an “American Idol” is someone who has star appeal!!!!!! Elliott is talented but no an idol by any means!!!

you dont think he’s appealing because he’s not attractive. But he DOES have a amazing voice. Anyone with ears knows that. Chris should’nt have been voted off it should have been Kathrine. She’s been a sucky contestant in the past few weeks. Elliot and Chris should have been the last at the end.

  4. WhatÂ’s holding this Elliot Yamin guy up? He must have a genie in a bottle or a picture of Cowell in a compromised position, because he shouldÂ’ve been gone long agoÂ… certainly long before Daughtry, Bennett, or Pickler. Too bogus for words!

I can’t believe that people are shocked that Chris was voted off. At last the end of that fake “rocker” pose. Let’s be honest, it really was getting tired.

Let’s be objective people. Luther Vandross was one ugly mof, and he and Ruben (American Idol WINNER, remember???) basically stood in one place, singing, while swaying back and forth. And let’s not forget that Ruben is morbidly obese. Elliott is fresh, and edgy, and rough-and-tumble in a way that you’d want to scrap it out with him, then have a beer on the back porch, singing old Al Jarreau tunes. He’s also pretty damn sexy, in a not-so-obvious way. Unless you’re so complacent and lazy that you need pretty boys like Ace rubbed in your face every five minutes by magazines and tv commercials. The point is, appeal comes in many different forms. If you don’t like Elliott, that is fine, but at least respect the fact that other people might see something in him that you don’t. That’s how I feel about Taylor.

Elliot is charming and sweet, I think Taylor is silly and whenever he sings I brace myself

I also agree with bobbyamin. Elliott has a great voice, and he’s rather HANDSOME in his own way. He reminds me a bit of Aiken- an underdog, that could use a makeover- but all around a “Normal, down-to-earth” guy that is genuine and extremely humble. He’s not CONCEDED like alot of others we have seen, ::coughs:: ACE ::coughs:: Elliott is real. ANd he doesn’t FORGET HIS LYRICS LIKE KATHARINE- WHO USES HER LOOKS TO GET THROUGH. This is not a beauty pageant.!!!
