Those are the rumors today in the aftermath of last night’s stunning revelation that Chris Daughtry was voted off American Idol. Fans everywhere are calling for a recount, wondering if the show is rigged, or just recovering from the shocking loss of what many saw as a sure thing as this season’s American Idol. In addition to the firestorm on the blogs, CNN has just reported that rumors are widely circulating that the rock bands, Creed and/or Fuel, are looking at Chris and may be in active discussions to bring him into one of these bands. Would it surprise anyone? If it does, it shouldn’t. Chris Daughtry was a clear stand out from the other, mostly inexperienced and amateur, contestants. Only Taylor Hicks was arguably as professional as Chris Daughtry in comparison to other American Idol contestants. Taylor Hicks, of course, is now largely expected to win the competition to become this year’s American Idol. But, if last night taught us anything, it is not to rely on the current expectations, as anything can happen in the next 2 weeks of voting.

I totally agree, anything can happen. I am a Soul Patroller, and we are very dedicated, and loyal fans to Taylor Hicks. That’s why he never made in the bottom three or two votes. We have a lot of rockers out there, we have a lot of Pop singers out there, but we definitely do not have any incredible soulful entertainers like Taylor Hicks. The music industry definitely needs someone who is as talented as Taylor. That’s why we love Taylor, for his ability to reach down and make you feel the music, and I will vote until I can’t vote any more. I hope people see that in him.
GO TAYLOR !!!!
I don’t know much about Absent Element, but will support Chris in any thing that he chooses. But don’t get me wrong I love Creed and getting the two best together would be wonderful.
