Elliott Yamin chose to sing “I Can Dream” as his first song choice on American Idol tonight. He came out looking very sharp in a grey suit. I like it when Elliott sings straight but he uses so much freakin’ vibratto. . it makes me nervous. . and there’s nothing worse than flat vibratto and he definitely has this problem in the low register. . but he kicked ass on the song from the middle to the end, there’s no doubt about that. Paula was caught whispering to Randy that she thought it was his best, something she restated for the audience later. Randy said he “laid it out!” Simon said that he came in as the underdog and chose an unknown song but managed to pull off the best performance thus far in the evening.

I will be voting for Taylor Hicks and make sure I do not hear any other voices saying thanks for the votes but his voice.
Katherine, you WILL be going home next Thursday, it should of been you and not Chris. However, things work out for a reason, and it did so wonderful soulman himself Taylor could bring it all the way home.
No another Kellie Clarkson cut-out, but a truly different talented person, with an edge, not seen before on Idol.
