Elliott Yamin chose “Home” as his second song choice on last week’s American Idol. It was a thousand times better than his first performance. More of a soft ballad and he actually sang it on pitch. He could have kicked it up a notch for the audience, but I think he did a very good job with it. Randy loved seeing the tender side of Elliott, saying it was a nice choice. Paula said that it was a good song choice because we could hear the richness of his voice and it “melts” you. Simon thought it didn’t have enough of a wow factor and said he was a little concerned about it.
