Take A Look At Katharine McPhee

Katharine McPhee thought she was wearing a trash bag on American Idol last week. Let me tell you, that woman could literally wear a trash bag and she would still look incredibly stunning. She sang “Take A Look At Me Now” as her first song choice. She was trying to make it her own, with unique inflection, but it only worked half-way. . . She missed some of the notes and it ended up being a more subdued version than the original in the first half. She kicked it up a notch in the last half and this was fortunately the best part of the performance and the only part people will remember. Randy said she looked hot, but the key was not right for her and that it was ok at the end. Paula said it wasn’t her favorite performance. Simon said that in parts it was a mess and the song ran away from her, stating that she was lucky to have another song to sing. This was pretty nice given what he said to Paris. . . Yes, Simon wants Paris off the show.
