Taylor Hicks came out rocking and dancing on American Idol last week. He chose “Play That Funky Music” as his first song choice. He actually pulled out a new dance move. It was kind of hoppy. What can I say. . . He was jumping around so much that he was breathless and lost some words. . But it was pure Taylor and his fans will love it. Definitely going to get them to the phone, especially after he threw himself on the stage floor. Randy thought it was a wild choice, wondering whether he (Randy) was drunk. Paula thought it was authentic Taylor. Simon was speechless. He said it was a horrible wedding performance. Ryan lied down with Taylor to give the audience his number. Yuck.
