The Artist Formerly Known as Paris Bennett

Paris Bennett had some good hair on American Idol last week. Ryan was calling her Princess P. . . She chose to sing Prince’s “Kiss” as her first performance. Oh my. . . this is a disaster waiting to happen. . . Not exactly a typical American Idol choice. Nonetheless, she came out as sassy as ever and started to rock the crowd. It was a fun performance but she didn’t blow it out of the park. Randy thought it was fun and showed her personality, but that it was a little old. Paula didn’t like it. Simon said it was “screechy and annoying.” I can’t agree with Simon on that. . . he obviously wanted her to go.
