You all may be aware of DialIdol.com, which provides an automated voting tool for American Idol fans. Each week they post the results of their service and a prediction for the winning and losing contestants. This week they predict Katharine McPhee or SHOCKER Chris Daughtry to be voted off the show. 1 or 2: Taylor Hicks – 29,749 votes 1 or 2: Elliott Yamin – 29,181 votes 3 or 4: Katharine McPhee – 25,623 votes 3 or 4: Chris Daughtry – 25,241 votes As you can see, the margin of error between the top 2 and the bottom 2 is very thin. Now, ZabaSearch has slightly different predictions, showing Elliott in the bottom position. I have to say I would be BLOWN AWAY if Dial Idol is right with Chris Daughtry. . .No freakin’ way!
We shall see tonight.

Chris was 3rd in my book this week , Katharine sounds like a girl in pain when she peaks her voice , her high vocal is more annoying than impressive , Chris should of at least made it to the top 3 not to mention maybe top2 depending on how he would of done if he was still here , but i dialed 3 phones for 11/2 hrs & got a busy signal every time , the voting is unfair & they should let one phone per # be a vote !!!
The voting is impossible when you cannot get through to cast your vote , they couldn’t connect any more lines so voters can vote ??
It’s a shame cause Katherine would have been buried in the bottom if half the voters could of got through , the system is unfair once again on another reality show ,,go figure ,
She’ll be eliminated this upcoming week but i still think the fan favorites are Taylor & Chris & that should be the finale !!

The whole world is shocked of this unfair elimination , Chris will go on & do great , i am a 27 year bassist & Taylor i think is the most talented but in no way did i see Chris leaving this week , this is such a shock to probably everyone . Katherine is horrible , she can sing one way & i mean one way & not a huge range , everytime she raises her voice it’s painful to everyone in my house , it’s simply BAD !!! So if she does that next week just once , i’m sure she’ll be way down in the basement for votes , i think she’s trying way too hard & she’s hurting herself with her annoying high notes she hits, yeah:: she hits them in key but they just come out with such a lousy tone that sounds like crap…
I cannot put into words how disgusted I am with the last night’s results on American Idol. Chris Daughtry should not have been eliminated- Period! Out of any contestant on any season of American Idol, Chris has the voice most in line with what main-stream America likes listening to. At any given moment you can turn on the radio and hear a song that you can envision Chris singing– his voice really is that good. However, there are some rude, jealous people out there who have started a website encouraging America to vote for the worst contestant for various reasons including the idea that good people are not being given an opportunity, blah blah blah. Let’s not forget, some people think they are better than they actually are, and some people who are actually pretty good choke at inappropriate times. That does not mean they have any entitlement to be given a shot on American Idol. To selfishly encourage others to ruin a person’s chance of becoming a successful singer just because they do not like the way American Idol is run is a horrible indication of how many people just do not give a darn about anyone or anything other than their own interests. And if you do not think the website could possibly have that big of impact (which is what I thought when I first heard about it), it is hard to imagine that is not the case when as of this morning that website had 4.27 million hits. I am appalled by this website and by what it is encouraging others to do. The best person should be voted for on American Idol. By intentionally not voting for the best person, innocent individuals are being harmed and dreams are being shattered and Americans should think more of themselves and of those who have made it this far than to succumb to such ridiculous suggestions.
