Gina Glocksen rocked the house with her rendition of the classic Heart song, “Alone.” Now, remember that Carrie did this during her rise to fame and fortune on American Idol. I liked her version as well, but Gina has more of an edgy image, so I like it better with her (though Carrie can sing better). Randy loved it, saying that it was a good song choice, though it started pitchy. Paula thought she rocked too, comparing it to Carrie Underwood’s performance. Simon thought it was a good choice also but said that her vocals were forced and he is a little confused by her image and “who she is,” advising her to be more edgey.
