Well, it was awfully sweet or was it strategic? that Phil Stacy dedicated his performance this week on American Idol to United States Servicemen. He sang “Missing You” (since you’ve been gone) and he sounded pretty good, I think. It wasn’t the most dynamic song or performance but it was good. He juiced up the ending with some big, long held notes. Definitely professional. Randy gave him so yo yos. . He thought it was hot and showed his vocal power. Paula commented on how great the tone was and that she could hear him on the radio right now. Simon kept it real, saying that he was not jumping out of his chair. He said he is popular, nice but has a very unoriginal (not unique) voice. . . He threw out the “karaoke” jab but added that he would be back next week. . . Simon is almost always right.
