Can A.J. Tabaldo possibly be any cuter? I don’t think so. He dedicated “Feeling Good” to his mom and dad, and it was so sweet. Ok, first of all.. . . let’s talk about how courageous it was to sing a song like this which was made so popular by Nina Simone. Ok, if Michael Buble can sing it, I guess A.J. can also, but I still always think of it as a woman’s song . . .
His tone was wonderful and sexy and he kicked it out of the park half way through and all the way to the end. He definitely brought out his inner black diva. . . He now officially rocks in my book. Ok, he rocked already. . Love him.
Randy said it proved that he has skill and that it was much better than last week. All in all very nice. Paula said he had a real X 5 voice and that she liked that he was expanding into different areas. Simon said that it was “actually nearly very good.” Sounds a little non-committal to me, but A.J. took it. He said he stood out, showed some personality and “strangely” felt comfortable doing the performance. . . that was code for “you’re comfortable being gay.”
