But she did “True Colors” pretty well on American Idol this week. She was, of course, stunningly beautiful again this week. Gwen Stefani said that she should just try to sing the melody and not over do it, and I guess she followed her advice. . She hit a really big note in the middle of the song. . . but she went flat in her low register. . . My buds clapped for her and agreed that she has improved. . Have you noticed her legs? Randy said it got better toward the end but that it didn’t grab him and was a bit pitchy. Paula said that the song requires being vulnerable and that she didn’t pull that off. Simon said it was sweet but forgettable, adding that thousands of girls can sing like that but that there was nothing to remember. . . too safe. . .
