If You Really Love Jared Cotter, Vote!

Jared Cotter took on Stevie Wonder this week on American Idol and I think he did a pretty decent job, even though it’s really hard to do Stevie and make it unique. He added some personality and it was cute. I find him a little to saccharin for my taste though but the girls will like it.

Randy said it was a solid performance and that it was good. Paula said that he needs to color up the way he sings, advising him to add tender moments, falsetto and to stop shouting the whole song. Simon said that he understood Paula and agreed with her in that it wasn’t original. He said it was ok but he was disappointed by not hearing the wow factor from the boys tonight. Amen brother. I’m again underwhelmed.
