Phil Stacey came out as a bald person on American Idol this week. I was touched that he felt so comfortable with the American public to do so.
He chose an ambitious song to sing but it was really out of his vocal range. He couldn’t hit the high notes and ended up screaming most of the song. It was rough to say the least. . . Bye, bye.
Randy said it was an interesting song choice, but that it was cool that he has a big voice and range, but added that the low register needs work and it was pitchy. Ok. Paula agreed that it was not good nor was the song choice. Simon said he didn’t get it with the hat and the big eyes being a bit insane at the beginning. Simon said that overall it was a very disappointing night for the guys, adding that Phil’s performance was not good enough.
