No Signs of Stormy Weather For Lakisha Jones

I kept saying that I wish Lakisha would bring out a little more personality on American Idol. And, finally we got a glimpse of it at the end of her fantastic rendition of Stormy Weather. I keep referencing the pre-idol clip of her in a Houston talent show where she gets down and “ugly” as Fantasia would say and takes second place. So, she finally showed a little groove and got down toward the end of her performance. It was great.

I think she is afraid of not being as controlled because when she cuts lose she is likely to not sing quite as well. . . No biggie though, ’cause she rocks. She’s going to have to bring more of that if she wants to be #2 on American Idol.

Randy said that it started off rocky but that it was the bomb. Paula said that she looked gorgeous and she sounded beautiful. Simon said it was a sassy great performance. She needs to be sassier!!!
