Lil Rounds looks like a very upstanding young woman. She is tall, attractive, and very well put together. She chose to sing Stevie Wonder’s “All I Do.” She started off strong and pretty much knocked it out of the park. She had great range and was on pitch the whole way through. Big voice, big personality, and definitely big potential.
Kara said that she really liked her and that she was really good. Paula said “I Love You” and that her vocals are one of the best and that whoever told her to stop dreaming her dream should be told to kiss her behind. Simon said she was “absolutely fantastic” and that there is something classy and retro about her, a singer’s singer. I think he got a little choked up about it. Simon going soft?
Randy said that she was a mix between Mary J. Blige and Fantasia. Kara said that she was one of the best and that she loved that Lil didn’t know that she was so great. I think we have a winner here. It was a little over the top that they played Fantasia’s “When You Believe” to highlight her golden ticket scene and then close the show.
