Just back from studying BBQ, Anoop Desai chose to sing a Boyz to Men song for his audition. He sounded great and had a surprising amount of soul to his performance.
Everyone agreed that he was unexpected and soulful. Randy said that he had crazy vocals and was in tune with vibe. Kara said that he “flipped it up” in his own way. Simon said it was all a bit too geeky and that he looked like he just came out of a meeting with Bill Gates, very silicon valley geeky. They all sent him through to Hollywood.
