Asa Barnes chose to sing “The Way You Make Me Feel” by Michael Jackson for his American Idol audition. He was pretty amazing. I mean can anyone really sing Michael Jackson except Michael Jackson? Well, Asa sang it about as good as anyone could have.
Simon said he like him but he couldn’t understand why he would have chosen that song. Asa said he liked it and it was a great song. This cracked up everyone. Paula said that usually when people sing Michael it is a disaster and that Asa’s performance was anything but a disaster. Kara said that she liked him and that he had a “whole vibe.” Everyone sent him through to Hollywood.
