Brent Keith Smith chose to sing a Bad Company song, “Can’t Get Enough” by Bad Company. He’s totally hot and he’s a pretty decent singer but definitely not my style of music.
Paula said that she was surprised that he had “that” in him but said that he was good and that he needed songs like that to let him go. She was referring to him kicking it up in the last bit of his audition. Simon said the song was ridiculous (I agree) and advised him to come in with a more emotional song. Kara and Paula took offense at his comments. Kara tried to say something but got cut off by Simon and then she and Paula started acting really stupid and making a scene.
Watch the video below to see what I mean. This time, Simon was right on and the girls were over-reacting. I don’t know why everytime he says something “critical” that they think he’s not going to put them through. He was offering legitimate advise IMHO.
