A self-proclaimed cross between Hilary Duff and Madonna, Lea Marie Golde had quite the intro reel on American Idol. She is a piece of work, actually. Definitely cute, definitely spunky and energetic, and definitely one of the most narcissistic people on the planet. She kept going off on how blah-dee-blah Kara DioGuardi is and she even brought all her own original songs in a pink binder that matched her own pink cowboy hat and super-tight knit top.
Well, with all that build up, it could have gone either way. She could have been awesome or awful. Well, she turned out to be awful. Actually that is an overstatement. She wasn’t that awful, she was a little tone deaf and flat. She might be able to sing, but she needs some training. Very nasal. She gave an impassioned plea to have them put her through, but no dice.
They all basically said she sucked but not in so many words. I think the felt sorry for her. Well, everyone but Simon. He said it was “terrible” and “annoying.” Paula said she has to work. Kara said that she sounded like she was in a musical but that she admired her commitment as demonstrated by her putting that freakish binder together.
After Lea Marie left the room, Kara laughed and followed up with “that’s my fan, what does that tell you about me?” Well, it doesn’t tell you anything. But, your comments tell me that you’re a two-faced bee-yatch.

Perhaps some research on Lea Marie might have helped these people.She isn’t exactly someone who walked in from nowhere.She has built up a considerable body of work in the last 6 years,writing songs and developing her style.I am a little miffed that Lea was treated as a complete nobody.
Check out a movie called “Bojangles” with the late Gregory Hines.She is featured in this movie in dance numbers with Hines.Yes,she was a child then, but did any one of them know of that ??? Did any one of them including Kara know that this was a girl with a track record? Now that was a talented girl and she’s still got talent.
I used to chuckle at Cowell’s comments at auditions, no more. This was really not humorous.This will come back to haunt them….and soon.
My personal opinion: She was a little nervous that day.But she will be back. Her recent videos of her own wonderful songs should be looked at as well. It’s a very different Lea Marie you will see. We are witnessing someone beyond even some past American Idol stars, dancer,singer,actress, songwriter, She’s on her way up to a level that may be higher than American Idol. And she will be really BIG!

@ Rick Hengber: You wrote your comment as if it’s ad, so if you’re her agent trolling blogs, that’s sad… I doubt anyone cares about her, since there are many girls like her that try to go into music business. Take Lea Marie from Germany for example – great voice, good youtube videos, and so what? To be honest, I think the judges might have acted like douches, but at least they are right… she does need to listen to her voice, it is off note.
And for any of you people out there that might say “oh have you met her to talk about her like that?” – yes, I know her personally.

Obviously you are her mother. Here she is infamous, not famous. And you carrying around all her bags does nothing to help that. She is very cute, and has potential. But have her lose the tude and more people will like her. Yes, her concert will be packed, for all the wrong reasons. Have her act like a normal human being and maybe she can go places.. everyone can sing here, it’s not just you.

She may be big one day. I also realize that none of us can please everyone and we all have our faults. But my comments were purely altruistic. I care about young talent .
