Ann Marie Boskovich American Idol Audition Video

Ann Marie Boskovich didn’t really audition for American Idol at first. . She came out blathering about how much she loved Kara DioGuardi and how she saw her in Nashville or something and almost fell over. . blah, blah, blah.  Well, she basically just started riffing a couple of Kara’s songs here and there and she was freaking amazing.  She’s got an incredible voice.  Definitely one of the best so far.  Cut 20 minutes later in the show and she came back to actually audition.  She sang Colbie Caillat’s “Bubbly” though she said she had prepared “Umbrella” as well.  Don’t get me wrong, I love me some Colbie Caillat but I wish she would have sang Rihanna’s Umbrella-ella-ella-ella. . .

Everyone agreed that she is a total star with natural talent, but that she didn’t convey an attitude as such and she needed to do some work on that.  Simon said that she should come back as a different person. . Come back as “you.” but “not you” as it were.  Whatever that means.  After she came back and did the real audition, everyone gave her a golden ticket to Hollywood. Like they weren’t going to send her through with a voice like that regardless of whether she has star attitude or not.  Sometimes the show makes way too much of an attempt to be interesting.
