Joshua Ulloa “got it on” for the judges during his Jacksonville, Florida audition for American Idol. He sang, of course, Marvin Gaye’s “Let’s Get It On” and was a little crazy with it. He was all over the place with sound effects, scratching, runs and trills but he actually has some talent and was pretty good. . He generally hit all the notes and had clear pitch. .
Simon said that in parts it was very good, but was gimmicky and like “Inspector Gadget.” Randy said it was entertaining. . They all put him through to Hollywood.
