Sharon Wilbur brought her dog to her audition and chose to sing “Superstar” by Karen Carpenter. She is definitely a cute girl and she sang ok but she is definitely not Karen Carpenter. They criticized her that her dog was yawning during her audition. Randy and Simon sent her through but the girls were unconvinced. Paula and Kara did some fake making out for some totally unclear reason, but sent her through anyway.
It turns out she’s been singing some gospel music in her life before American Idol. I couldn’t find her audition video but check out some of her other work:
