Ok, I know I’m dating myself here because I know most people interested in American Idol will have no clue what The Bobbsey Twins are and why you’d call a couple that. Actually, I don’t either. . .but I’m old enough to have grown up with the expression.

Anyway, the Jersey Girls, Amanda and Antonella, were a riot act. Their obviously in love with each other. “Together we’re hot!” Yes, you are! I love lipstick lesbians from New Jersey!

So how do they sing? Well, the duet thing was a disaster. They were both off-key. Separately, Amanda Coluccio was ok. Maybe it was just the Patsy Cline song. Maybe she was just nervous after the disasterous duet. Obviously, they were going to send them both through just to attract the lesbian crowd to the show.

Antonella Barba had a much more interesting, sultry voice. I agree with the judges that she has the better voice. She’s pretty hot too.
