What did you think of Tami Gosnell. A pedi-cab driver from Denver and burgeoning folk song singer or rocker? I liked her. She’s got a great personality, winning smile, and her voice was raw and sexy.
Simon thought she rocked. “You’re like someone who would have been a big star in the 60’s. You stand out, I love that.” Randy and Paula agreed.

I was pretty underwhelmed with the auditioners this season so far, except for a couple of the guys. But then I heard Tami Gosnell - the only auditioner this season that gave me a “Wow!” moment. It’s not just for her great voice because she has the ability to get to the emotional core of the song and make me feel it.
Her original music is really interesting too - like a cross between Lucinda Williams and Melissa Ethridge . I wonder if she is too “non-mainstream” to make it on AI this season. Honestly, the fact that she’s not mainstream - like Bo and Taylor - is why I like her, but I wonder if that will hurt her chances for advancing at this point. I guess we’ll have to see what happens in Hollywood.

I really can’t believe that Sanjaya made it through to the top 12. He does’t have the talent..Sundance was the biggest lost in the American Idol in this season..
