Gina Glocksen Shouldn’t Worry About Being By Herself
I really like Gina Glocksen also. . She’s cute, has a great sense of humor, loads of talent and she really wants it. She came out looking very cool and sang “All By Myself.” She definitely made it her own. . but I was concerned that it was starting off too slowly. It was sharp on some of the high notes but I thought it was great. She should do big songs that are a little more upbeat though.
Randy like it a lot. Paula said it was the right song given the other big performers. . .Simon said that it was good to see a different side of her but added that she didn’t hit the big note. She disagreed, as did the audience. Frankly, I disagree also. She was sharp on one high note, but the last big note was definitely hit. Gina said that she was proud of herself for hitting it whether it was off or not. I’m glad she was excited and she should have been but that was a little too self-congratulatory for American Idol. . Callers and Voters don’t like that.
