Alaina Alexander Is Not Ready To Make Nice
Alaina Alexander chose to dedicate her performance on American Idol this week to her mother. She looked hot in a baby doll type of dress and she sounded very strong for the first few bars of the song. I was feeling optimistic for her. I so want her to do well but she is out gunned in this competition. She likes these edgey, powerful songs and I don’t think they suit her as well as a stupid pop song would. . not that I don’t think she has depth, just that her vocals are not that strong.
Randy agreed that she went off pitch after the first few bars. . saying it was a mess. Paula agreed saying that it was a difficult song to sing. . .Simon likened it to Randy running a 100 meter dash. . that he would and she did run out of steam 3/4ths of the way through. . .
