Chris Richardson May Have Been a Fat Football Player, But His Performance On Idol Tonight Was Weak
Chris Richardson came out as a fat person on American Idol this week. . What’s with all the weight issues and these boys?
He did a Keith Urban song. I remember someone else sang it from last year and I had to compare it to that and though I don’t remember who it was I know that Chris Richardson’s version wasn’t as good. He added a couple of nice runs to spice it up but all in all it was boring for him. He could have chosen a better song and he could have done this song better. I know I will invite flames for saying so, but his rendition lacked feeling. . . That said, he’s a stud muffin and the girls will vote for him.
I don’t know what is wrong with Randy tonight because he loved it. He’s being way to easy tonight. I think he was affected by his overly harsh critique of some of the contestants last week. He liked the way Chris is mixing it up and added his own thing to the Urban song. Paula said that he picked a good song and that he adapted the song well. Simon said it was good but it was not the best vocal and he was not jumping out of his chair, adding that it was a little timid and safe and that we have not heard the best from Chris Richardson yet.
Again, Simon is right on.

Chris has a unique sound, He has the number 22, thus he would never had been fat. He has an athletic build and a great stage presence. By far one of the top 2 guys.
I guess this is why you are writing a blog instead of singing….

Definitely not a singer here but my lack of singing ability has nothing to do with my blogging. . . Had you watched the show, you would have known that he said he was fat when he played football. . . hence, my comment. Yes, he has a big build, but if he says he was fat, who am I or you to disagree with him?
Yes, he is definitely one of the top 2 guys and I agree with you that he has a unique-ish sound, but that doesn’t change the fact that I think his performance was a little weak. That said, weak is relative, because he is so much better than all but 1 of the other boys.

The person who sang it last year was Ace Young and that rendition was painful!
Chris’ wasn’t the best but was at least bearable.
Him and Blake are the best guys by far. I’m guessing he’ll make Top 5.
